Sava Center is the largest congress, cultural, and business center in Serbia and one of the largest in Southeast Europe. It has 69,300 m² of usable space and 100,000 m² of total area, including a concert hall with 4,050 seats, 15 conference rooms, exhibition space, and numerous other facilities. It was constructed between 1976 and 1979, and in the past three years, it has been reconstructed, repaired, and renovated.

ION Solutions participated in the project by implementing a Building Management System (BMS) that oversees:

  • monitoring and managing ventilation and heating/cooling systems (110 air handling units) in halls, corridors, congress halls, offices, and the Blue Hall
  • ventilation management in kitchens
  • monitoring and managing thermal substations, heat pumps, and chillers
  • control of fan coil units
  • fire system monitoring, smoke extraction, air replenishment, and pressurization ventilation
  • measuring and monitoring electricity consumption through 400 meters
  • overseeing electrical distribution and
  • monitoring transformer stations.
